In China, there’s a saying:“日出而作,日落而息“ – “Work with the sunrise, rest with the sunset.” Taking the form of a letter, this work is an attempt to stretch a single day — to imagine the sun as a bridge that connects distant places and different people.

The shipping box becomes an envelope, tracing the letter’s journey — from the person who made it in China, to others who once shared a connection with it. Like sun that passing from one shoulder to another, the letter remains in motion — searching for a new recipient, a new place to arrive, and sometimes, a new form to take.
